Getting the right therapist for yourself, one with quality education and experience in the areas you need, is essential for successful counseling. You wouldn’t go to a general medical doctor for a heart transplant, would you?  Then why would you go to a therapist who is not specifically educated to address sexual difficulties?

My education:

My training for sexual therapy was done at the Masters & Johnson Institute in New Orleans, and at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco.
Later, I added the certification in Forensic Sexology at the National Board of Forensic Professionals in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
My training as a psychotherapist was completed at Temple University in Philadelphia and at Marywood College in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Because it’s important to me to know the latest information, I regularly attend continuing education courses, and keep up with current research findings.
